About the position

The Customer Service Representative acts as an intermediary between customers and various departments at Pratt Industries, ensuring that customers receive the packaging solutions they need. This role focuses on building reliable relationships with customers, understanding their requirements, and providing excellent service to enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Receives complex customer needs via incoming mail, telephone, and electronic contact regarding the organization's products and services.
• Enters and adjusts orders, performs proactive selling and marketing of products, and resolves questions and complaints within span of control.
• Responds to inquiries and complaints regarding products and services, contract requirements, pricing, delivery dates, and account management questions.
• Provides technical assistance and guidance to customers on product applications, storage, color matching, safety, and other topics.
• Assists with reviewing and coordinating customer service activities related to shipping, plant schedules, inventory levels, and sales activities.
• Develops and reviews correspondence and documentation regarding customer interactions and responds to questions and concerns.
• Educates customers about current or new product lines and assists with selling additional products.
• Acts as a liaison between sales personnel and customers to clarify orders and provide technical guidance.
