About The Position

The Customer Service Representative at M&R Ready Mix is responsible for managing ready-mix concrete orders for various projects across Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. This role emphasizes exceptional customer service, effective communication, and operational efficiency in coordinating deliveries and addressing customer inquiries.

Requirements

• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with customers and internal teams.
• Detail-oriented and able to coordinate current and future deliveries efficiently.
• Excellent customer service, computer, and math skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing workloads and work occasional nights or weekends based on customer demand.
• Team player with a positive attitude and commitment to safety.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with ready-mix concrete or professional dispatching is preferred.
• Knowledge of concrete mixes and experience working with concrete contractors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Professionally receive and process customer orders via phone and email.
• Plan delivery routes and coordinate with drivers to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with customers, ready-mix truck drivers, and internal personnel.
• Address customer questions and concerns while providing excellent service.
• Prepare invoices, delivery tickets, and other related documents.
• Review orders for accuracy before shipment.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.
