About the position

The Customer Service Representative at Nelson Analytical is responsible for managing the receipt of incoming samples at the laboratory, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring accurate documentation of customer interactions and sample handling. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient operations and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients via phone, email, and chat
  • Assist customers with inquiries, complaints, and product/service information
  • Maintain customer records by updating account information
  • Resolve customer issues promptly and escalate complex cases to the appropriate department
  • Perform data entry tasks to update customer profiles and order details
  • Conduct outbound calls to follow up on customer inquiries or resolve issues

Requirements

  • Customer service experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to analyze customer needs and provide appropriate solutions
  • Proficient in data entry with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult customers with professionalism
