About the position

The Customer Service Representative at Sewell Contractors is responsible for addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues efficiently. This full-time role involves managing a high volume of calls, maintaining accurate records, and providing product information while ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and concerns
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints effectively and efficiently
  • Manage high volumes of inbound and outbound calls
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
  • Provide up-to-date product and service information to customers
  • Upsell products and services to customers when appropriate
  • Escalate customer issues to the appropriate department or manager as needed
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer issues and concerns
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times
  • Continuously improve your knowledge of products and services
  • Meet or exceed performance targets, such as call volume and resolution time
  • Adapt to new technologies and processes as they are implemented
  • Contribute to team goals and initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and retention
  • Provide feedback to management on customer issues, concerns, and trends.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven customer service experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage high call volumes
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in using customer service software and tools

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a call center environment
  • Familiarity with CRM systems
  • Bilingual skills
