About the position

The Customer Service Representative at Expressway USA Freightlines Inc. is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and data entry support within the import/export trucking industry. The role involves scheduling appointments, managing customer communications, and ensuring efficient operations without causing delays or additional charges. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Making appointments on APM & Port Liberty Bayonne's appointment system
  • Scheduling delivery appointments with customers
  • Performing data entry tasks
  • Answering emails in a timely manner
  • Answering phone calls from customers
  • Reviewing & recording driver logs and equipment maintenance reports

Requirements

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Proficiency in Google Docs and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
  • 1 year of data entry experience
  • Ability to work without supervision

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience as a drayage dispatcher
  • Knowledge of NY & NJ Ports
  • Familiarity with Port Pro
