About the position

The Customer Service Representative at Superior Plus Propane is responsible for managing incoming customer calls, providing information about products and services, and resolving customer issues efficiently. This role emphasizes a supportive work culture, competitive compensation, and opportunities for professional development, all while maintaining a focus on safety and employee well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Professionally handle incoming requests and calls from customers, ensuring accurate and prompt issue resolution.
  • Assist and support walk-in customers at the location.
  • Contact customers to answer inquiries, resolve concerns, and create new business opportunities.
  • Process orders and complete forms/applications as required to fulfill customer requests.
  • Assist the sales team with incoming requests and outbound notifications for new services and products.
  • Support additional Customer Service Center needs and requirements as assigned.
  • Work overtime hours when business needs require it.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED required; college degree preferred.
  • Five years of customer service experience in a high-volume call center or customer service environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel).
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
