About the position

The Customer Service Representative at Wind Rose Insurance Agency plays a crucial role in assisting clients with their property and casualty insurance needs. Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person regarding property and casualty insurance policies.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional insurance products, such as life, health, or umbrella coverage, based on client needs and agency offerings.
  • Assist clients with policy updates, renewals, cancellations, and claims processing, ensuring all requests are handled efficiently.
  • Educate customers on coverage options, policy features, and benefits to help them make informed decisions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information in the agency's management system.
  • Collaborate with underwriters and agents to resolve client issues and provide support with complex policy questions.
  • Handle billing inquiries, process payments, and assist with premium adjustments.
  • Proactively follow up on customer requests and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Stay informed about changes in insurance regulations and updates to property and casualty insurance products.
  • Uphold the agency's commitment to compliance and ethical standards while protecting customer privacy.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • Bilingual - Spanish speaking.
  • Previous experience in customer service, preferably within the insurance industry.
  • Strong understanding of property and casualty insurance policies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with customer service software and insurance management systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Insurance licensing (preferred but not required; agency may provide training).
