About the position

The Customer Service Representative at TEKsystems is responsible for providing high-quality customer service to members and providers, primarily through inbound calls and emails. This role involves data entry, troubleshooting, and educating members about specific Medicare programs, ensuring a courteous and professional interaction at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls from members and providers, providing high levels of customer service.
  • Handle customer service inquiries and problems via telephone and email, accurately recording communications.
  • Utilize a computerized system for tracking calls and information gathering.
  • Assess needs, provide instructions, explain programs, and suggest alternative products or services.
  • Engage and educate members about Medicare programs, ensuring a successful interaction.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service skills to support interaction with end users in a pleasant and professional manner.
  • Ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely in various settings.
  • Proficiency in using Windows and MS Office applications.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to empathize with customers.
  • Attention to detail and strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
