About the position

The Customer Service Representative at TEKsystems is responsible for delivering high-quality customer service to both internal and external customers through various communication channels. This role focuses on efficiently handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

  • Gather information via incoming calls and emails from customers to answer questions regarding product and service issues.
  • Diagnose service issues and process service requests, scheduling appointments based on customer needs.
  • Provide quotes to customers and order necessary service parts.
  • Research and troubleshoot product issues in a timely manner.
  • Update customer files with each contact made with the customer.
  • Research parts needed for customer inquiries.
  • Enter Credit Requests for all warranty parts ordered.
  • Resolve customer complaints regarding products and services, engaging other departments as necessary.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service skills and experience in a call center environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Excel.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Detail-oriented with strong data entry and administrative support skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in logistics or order processing.
  • Familiarity with technical support and help desk operations.
  • Background in retail or hospitality sectors.
