About the position

The Customer Service Representative at BakeMark plays a crucial role in processing incoming orders and supporting the COA Clerk position. This position involves direct interaction with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure efficient order processing and customer satisfaction. The role is essential for maintaining the quality and accuracy of documentation related to bakery ingredients and products.

Responsibilities

  • Process all incoming orders from Sales force, customers, and BakeMark affiliates as assigned.
  • Support the COA Clerk position by gathering COA (Certificate of Analysis) documents from vendors and BakeMark QA.
  • Maintain detailed files of COA that are easy to retrieve quickly.
  • Reach out to vendors for missing COAs.
  • Retrieve COA information required from the Warehouse and submit it to the customer using their preferred method.
  • Process customer credits and debits as part of customer service functions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • One to three months related experience and/or training.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Knowledge of spreadsheet software and word processing software.
  • Proficiency in using a 10-key calculator.
