The Customer Service Representative at Bemis Manufacturing Company plays a crucial role in managing the order fulfillment process from receipt to delivery. Responsibilities

  • Act as liaison for customer and sales reps to Sales and other areas.
  • Perform all activities of order receipt, entry, allocation of product, and routing goods as necessary to achieve on-time delivery.
  • React promptly to coordinate, communicate, and implement customer-driven requirements.
  • Acquire and provide knowledgeable product data for reps and customers.
  • Proactively communicate order status updates to reps and customers.
  • Proactively keep the customer informed as to the status of their order.
  • Provide cross support within the department to ensure full-time availability for quality service and responsiveness.
  • Interpret customer programs and pricing schemes for system set-up.
  • Actively engage in efforts to improve methods to benefit the customer and the effective operation of the department.
  • Provide courteous and professional response for consumer-sourced communication and concerns.
  • Interact as needed regarding quality issues and projects and collaborate with Bemis personnel, sales reps, and customers.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required.
  • 0-3 years of experience in customer service or related field.
  • Excellent communication skills, persuasive communicator, and good listener to ensure consumer satisfaction.
  • Strong knowledge of the mechanical and functional areas of proprietary products and features.
  • Personal traits: problem solver, accurate, detail-oriented, able to work independently, resolve conflict, and stress resilient.
  • Team traits: supportive, result-focused, task-sharing, identifies goals, and strong contributor.
  • Administrative traits: organized, uses prioritization, and strong time management skills.
  • Ability to adhere to standards.
  • Strong Excel skills and must develop expertise using CRM system administration.
