About the position

As a Customer Service Representative at R1 RCM, Inc., you will play a crucial role in assisting patients during their registration process at Ascension St. Vincent Carmel. This part-time position requires you to work on-call during night shifts, providing support in a fast-paced hospital environment. Responsibilities

• Assist patients with the check-in process at the hospital.
• Collect and input patient and insurance information accurately and quickly.
• Answer questions and address concerns from patients during registration.
• Work across multiple screens and programs to intake information in a busy environment.
• Build rapport with patients to ease their anxiety and provide support.
• Handle interruptions from clinicians for emergent clinical care.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Excellent customer service experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable using technology and typing quickly while speaking with patients.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in customer service or healthcare is a plus but not required.
