About the position

The Customer Service Representative role at Home Reserve is a part-time position focused on delivering exceptional service to customers through email and live chat, with the potential for phone support. The representative will handle inquiries, resolve concerns, and support the company's goal of exceeding customer expectations in a family-centered and values-driven work environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming customer inquiries promptly and professionally via email and live chat.
• Provide backup phone support during peak times or when covering for team members.
• Assist with placing, modifying, and processing customer orders while maintaining accurate records of all interactions.
• Investigate and resolve issues with empathy, patience, and a solutions-focused mindset.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver timely resolutions to customer issues.
• Build a deep understanding of Home Reserve's products to provide personalized recommendations.
• Relay insights from customer feedback to the management team to help improve products and service.
• Ensure follow-up communication to confirm customer satisfaction and address any unresolved issues.
• Identify opportunities to enhance customer experiences through upselling and cross-selling.
• Perform all other duties as requested by management.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of customer service experience, answering questions via phone, email, and/or chat.
• Strong written communication skills, with experience handling email and chat inquiries.
• Experience with phone support is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to product knowledge and customer service standards.
• Ability to work Mondays and Tuesdays in the office, with flexibility for additional seasonal hours on weekends.
