About the position

Forum Health is seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative to join their dynamic team. This role focuses on providing exceptional customer support in a remote setting, helping patients navigate their healthcare needs and ensuring effective communication regarding their concerns. The ideal candidate will have a background in healthcare or customer support and be comfortable working with technology to resolve issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve product or service problems by clarifying patient/customer complaints and determining the cause of the problem.
  • Select and explain the best solution to solve customer issues.
  • Expedite issues as needed for corrections or adjustments to reported problems.
  • Support customer system requests as able.
  • Coordinate necessary efforts to provide training to medical practices and patients.
  • Address customer issues and ensure effective and long-term problem resolution.
  • Document timely and accurate customer complaint information to the product support systems.
  • Keep an accurate record of conversations with customers to ensure their needs are met.
  • Communicate technology issues and other product issues to the Power2Practice development team.
  • Exhaust all available resources prior to escalation.
  • Work to find creative solutions when necessary; ability to think outside of the box.
  • Respond to all tasks timely and efficiently.
  • Keep customers updated regularly with resolution progress.
  • Be a team player and help the team out when necessary, with other tasks and calls.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in healthcare.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Great listening skills and patience.
  • Tech-savvy and able to learn new software quickly.
  • Ability to multitask.

Nice-to-haves

  • Over 4 years of experience in customer service is preferred.
  • Experience in a healthcare environment.
