About the position

The Customer Service Representative at Mallory Safety and Supply plays a crucial role in ensuring exceptional service for both internal and external customers. The representative will engage with customers, manage orders, and assist with various tasks to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls from customers and other parties.
  • Take orders and enter them into Prophet21.
  • Answer questions and suggest products for customers.
  • Fix invoicing and pick ticket problems.
  • Provide front counter coverage when needed.
  • Assist with vending accounts.
  • Help with some sourcing of products.
  • Pick, pull, and stage orders in the warehouse occasionally.
  • Assist with miscellaneous projects as needed.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in customer service.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong time and project management skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Strong computer and data entry skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Industry knowledge of safety and industrial distribution highly preferred.
  • Candidates with Prophet 21 experience are encouraged to apply.
