Tri State Distributors is seeking a dependable full-time Customer Service Representative for their Wetumpka, AL branch. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service and supporting the sales team by managing order entry, quote preparation, and customer interactions. The position operates Monday through Friday, with no weekend work, and is part of a company that values traditional service and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Utilizing reports to enhance inside sales
• Conducting sales calls
• Order entry and quote preparation
• Receiving products as needed
• Working closely with the Outside Sales force

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Basic PC skills, including proficiency in MS Office/MS Teams
• Strong customer service background
• Professional phone etiquette skills
• Data entry skills
• Experience with hearth preferred
• Inside sales experience in a high-volume environment preferred
• Experience in Profit 21 (P21) software preferred
• HVAC experience a plus

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in outdoor kitchen industry is a plus
• Prior scheduling and AP/AR experience a plus
• Multitasking ability and handling a large volume of calls
