About the position
The Customer Service Route Sales Representative at American Safety and First Aid is responsible for managing an established client base while also pursuing new business opportunities. This role combines customer service and sales, ensuring client satisfaction and contributing to the company's growth. The representative will deliver products, maintain inventory, and build relationships with clients, all while working independently in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding service while delivering products to existing clients.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and professional service at each visit.
- Build relationships with current clients while identifying new sales opportunities.
- Expand the customer base by actively pursuing business development leads.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure clients are always well-stocked.
- Manage assigned territory efficiently and stay on schedule.
Requirements
- Previous B2B sales experience is ideal.
- Previous route experience is ideal.
- Retail or field sales experience is highly valued.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently while staying self-motivated.
- Comfortable lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in customer service for at least 1 year.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
