About the position

The Customer Service & Sales Representative role at ManpowerGroup involves providing exceptional customer service and sales support in an office environment. The representative will handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and promote products to ensure customer satisfaction. This position is essential for maintaining strong customer relationships and improving service processes.

Responsibilities

  • Professionally handle requests from customers to ensure that issues are resolved promptly and thoroughly.
  • Respond to requests received via phone, email, fax, EDI, and walk-ins.
  • Recommend and source the most profitable products to meet customer required dates.
  • Communicate service disruptions, approval requests, and corrective actions to management.
  • Utilize product knowledge to assist customers with selections and coordinate supplier support.
  • Identify and evaluate process improvements based on customer feedback and metrics.

Requirements

  • 6+ months of customer service experience or 1+ year in a Stockroom/Driving position within industrial distribution.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability and desire to learn new systems and processes quickly.
  • Ability to commit to full-time hours.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel.
  • SAP experience in a customer service setting.
  • Knowledge of industrial products and hydraulics.
  • Pleasant, patient, and friendly attitude.
