About the position

Crown Packaging Corp. is seeking an experienced Customer Service/Sales Support Representative to act as the primary customer liaison during the full life-cycle order management process. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to facilitate product and information flow, ensuring excellent customer service and issue resolution throughout the order process.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary customer liaison during the order management process.
  • Collaborate with the outside sales team to develop relationships with customers, vendors, and internal partners.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to customers at all times.
  • Assist customers with product selection based on their packaging needs.
  • Answer customer billing and service questions.
  • Communicate with vendors and internal departments to obtain product information and resolve issues.
  • Gather information for order entry, quoting, and advising on order status from customers.
  • Perform order entry, expediting, and proof of deliveries.
  • Receive and process inquiries, customer orders, changes, and requests.
  • Provide customers with pricing and delivery information.
  • Review open order reports.
  • Perform general office work, including answering a multi-line phone system.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years customer service experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management, purchasing, sourcing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and supply chain management.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves
