About the position

The Self Storage Manager at Public Storage is responsible for overseeing multiple storage facilities, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining the properties. This role involves working independently, managing daily operations, and providing excellent customer service while also handling administrative tasks such as cash management and inventory inspections.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple storage facilities independently.
  • Assess customer storage needs and provide recommendations.
  • Conduct daily inspections of storage units to confirm inventory and availability.
  • Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits.
  • Assist customers with payments and make reminder and collection calls when necessary.
  • Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the property is presentable.
  • Drive to different properties and manage company assets.

Requirements

  • Experience in customer service or sales environments such as retail, restaurant, or service-based companies.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to use personal vehicle for work-related travel.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in property management or real estate is a plus.
