About the position

As a Self Storage Manager at Public Storage, you will play a crucial role in managing multiple storage facilities independently. This position allows you to work both indoors and outdoors, providing a dynamic work environment. Your primary responsibility will be to assess customer storage needs and offer tailored solutions, which may include selling packing and moving supplies. You will conduct daily inspections of storage units to ensure they are ready for rental, confirming inventory and availability. Additionally, you will be responsible for auditing cash drawers and making bank deposits as part of the daily business operations. Customer service is at the heart of this role, as you will assist customers in staying current with their payments and may need to make reminder and collection calls when necessary. The position requires physical activity, including the ability to lift and move items weighing up to 35 pounds, and spending up to 50% of your time in outdoor environments. You will also be tasked with performing cleaning and maintenance duties to ensure the facilities are well-kept and presentable. This role offers the opportunity to earn performance-based bonuses, and you will be eligible for full-time benefits after working an average of 20+ hours per week. Requirements
