About The Position
As a Self Storage Manager at Public Storage, you will play a crucial role in the self-storage industry leader, working independently across multiple locations. Your primary responsibility will be to assess customer storage needs and provide tailored solutions, which may include selling packing and moving supplies. You will conduct daily inspections of storage units to ensure inventory accuracy and availability, ensuring that spaces are ready for rental. Additionally, you will be responsible for auditing cash drawers and making bank deposits as part of the daily business operations. Customer service is key in this role, as you will assist customers with payment reminders and collection calls when necessary. The position requires a hands-on approach, as you will spend a significant amount of time outdoors, walking around the facilities, climbing stairs, and performing cleaning and maintenance tasks to maintain curb appeal. You will also be expected to lift and move items weighing up to 35 pounds. This role offers the opportunity to earn performance-based bonuses, and you will be eligible for full-time benefits after working an average of 20+ hours per week.
