About the position

The Customer Service Specialist/Dispatcher role at Alliant Security involves being the primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional service and support in logistics and fleet management. The position requires strong communication and analytical skills to address customer needs and resolve issues efficiently, ensuring a seamless experience for all stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Analyze customer requests and provide accurate information regarding technician scheduled/arrival times for project/job schedules.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams as well as customers to coordinate logistics and confirm schedules and arrivals.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints in the system.
  • Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette while handling high volumes of calls.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within the logistics or dispatch industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess situations quickly and provide effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in using Field Service Management Systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to type efficiently while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail.
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
