About the position

The Customer Service Specialist I role at Isuzu involves providing technical support to retail and fleet customers regarding software and hardware issues related to the Isuzu Diagnostic Service Systems (IDSS). This hybrid position requires three days of onsite work in Lake Orion, Michigan, and focuses on resolving customer inquiries through phone and email, monitoring orders, and assisting with e-commerce issues.

Responsibilities

  • Answer the IDSS technical support line for USA and Canada commercial vehicle market dealers, E-IDSS users, and aftermarket retail IDSS subscription holders.
  • Provide remote technical support over the phone and internet.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for E-IDSS, including installation problems, web updater issues, communication failures, registration key reissues, programming errors, and hardware repairs.
  • Assist in the fulfillment of website orders for dealers and aftermarket customers as needed.
  • Support the coordination of parts ordering and inbound and outbound shipment logistics.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent directly related work experience.
  • Minimum three years of customer service experience.
  • Technical/customer relations training courses.
