About the position

The Customer Service Specialist I at Isuzu Global Service Systems, LLC (IGSS) is responsible for providing technical support to retail and fleet customers regarding software and hardware issues related to the Isuzu Diagnostic Service Systems (IDSS). This hybrid role requires three days of onsite work in Lake Orion, Michigan, and involves interacting with customers via phone and email to resolve issues, monitor orders, and assist with e-commerce inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Answers the IDSS technical support line for USA and Canada commercial vehicle market dealers, E-IDSS users, and aftermarket retail IDSS subscription holders.
• Provides remote technical support over the phone and internet.
• Troubleshoots hardware and software issues for E-IDSS, including installation problems, web updater issues, communication failures, registration key reissues, programming errors, and hardware repairs.
• Assists in the fulfillment of website orders for dealers and aftermarket customers as needed.
• Supports the coordination of parts ordering and inbound and outbound shipment logistics.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associates degree or equivalent directly related work experience.
• Minimum three years customer service experience.
• Technical/customer relations training courses.
• Proficient PC skills in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while meeting objectives and expected results.
• Conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
• Team/interpersonal skills.
