About the position

The Customer Service Specialist II role at Apex Systems involves providing support to Medicaid Providers through telephone and internet communications. The position is designed to resolve routine issues and respond to customer inquiries, ensuring effective service delivery. This hybrid role requires on-site presence four times a month and is expected to last up to three months, with the potential for contract-to-hire opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound phone calls from Medicaid Providers regarding billing or enrollment issues.
  • Process transactions via telephone, internet, and correspondence from customers and representatives.
  • Enter and maintain database records of customer profiles and prepare status reports.
  • Act as a liaison for customers to facilitate communication and resolve issues.
  • Maintain knowledge of company products and customer service processes.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of customer service experience.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong telephone and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
