About the position

The Customer Service Specialist position at RI International serves as the first point of contact for clients, providing essential clerical and administrative support within a crisis program. This role is crucial in ensuring effective communication and organization within the office, contributing to the overall mission of empowering individuals in crisis to recover and succeed in their goals.

Responsibilities

• Act as the receptionist for the program, answering telephones and triaging calls.
• Perform routine clerical tasks including typing, organizing, filing, copying, and faxing.
• Maintain an organized office filing system ensuring confidentiality of documents.
• Ensure reception areas are neat and orderly at all times.
• Handle initial registration and input individual data into the computer.
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of office equipment.
• Assist in ordering and stocking office supplies as needed.
• Gather data necessary for billing and audit functions as requested.
• Maintain petty cash and ensure compliance with RI International standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year of clerical or office experience required.
• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in behavioral health or related field preferred.
