About the position

The Customer Service Specialist role at TEKsystems is a part-time position focused on supporting ecommerce sales and delivering an exceptional customer experience. The specialist will handle customer communications via email and phone, process orders, and collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely responses to customer inquiries.

Responsibilities

  • Support email and phone communication with customers regarding product orders
  • Answer emails from clients offering product knowledge, item numbers, tracking numbers
  • Use Excel to track call and email responses
  • Process purchase orders
  • Support warranty and return process
  • Work with internal departments for effective communication on customer timelines

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of back office experience in a customer support role
  • Prior experience with ERP systems highly preferred, SAP experience a plus
  • Experience with processing work orders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong communication skills
