About the position

The Customer Service Specialist at Farmers Cooperative Society is responsible for providing exceptional guest service, generating sales, and maintaining store operations. This role involves engaging with customers, managing product knowledge, and ensuring a clean and organized store environment while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure outstanding guest service by providing a friendly environment and greeting every guest.
• Maintain solid product knowledge and awareness of merchandise promotions and advertisements.
• Assist in merchandising, display maintenance, and store housekeeping.
• Process and replenish merchandise, and monitor floor stock.
• Accurately complete all sales transactions and maintain cash accountability at point-of-sale registers.
• Communicate guest requests to management or direct them to sales specialists.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prefer experience in customer service, data entry, or a related field.

Nice-to-haves

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of company software and software support.
• Ability to manage stressful situations professionally.
