About the position

The Customer Service Specialist at Dapper Lighting is responsible for providing exceptional support to customers regarding their orders and technical inquiries. This role is crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the company's reputation as a trusted name in classic car lighting. The specialist will engage with customers, educate them about products, and resolve any issues they may encounter, all while embodying a positive and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Serve customers by providing product and service information and resolving product and service problems.
  • Attract potential customers by answering product and service questions and suggesting information about other products and services.
  • Open customer accounts by recording account information.
  • Maintain customer records by updating account information.
  • Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint, determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, expediting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution.
  • Recommend potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs.
  • Prepare product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information.
  • Assist and solve any technical product requested questions.

Requirements

  • High School degree or equivalent
  • Knowledge of automotive lighting
  • Knowledge of classic cars
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills
  • Fully Proficient in Word and Excel

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Zendesk or similar CRM
  • Previous industry experience
