About the position

The Customer Service Supervisor/Human Resources Recruitment Coordinator (CSS/HR) at All Ways Caring HomeCare is responsible for ensuring quality care and customer service for clients with developmental disabilities. This role involves coordinating staff assignments, scheduling services, and addressing any issues that arise to achieve optimal outcomes. Additionally, the CSS/HR supports the local branch in various HR functions, including recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and compliance with HR regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate quality care and customer service for clients by assigning appropriate staff and scheduling services.
  • Facilitate communication between clients, family members, and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor and escalate changes in clients' care plans or conditions.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for agency payers.
  • Consult and train Direct Care Staff to ensure quality care and service.
  • Provide HR support in recruitment, hiring, performance management, and compliance.
  • Process and review employment applications to evaluate qualifications.
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding and employee exit meetings.
  • Assist with data management and maintenance of employee records in HRIS.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and monitor ongoing file compliance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; some college coursework or an Associate's degree preferred.
  • Two or more years of community service, client service, or staffing experience.
  • Two or more years of general office and computer experience (e.g., Microsoft O365, scheduling, HRIT).
  • One to two years of Human Resources experience with high volume recruiting preferred.
  • One to two years in a supervisory role preferred.
  • Prior experience delivering services to the elderly, disabled, or developmentally disabled preferred.
  • Ability to make quick decisions and manage confidential information.
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience working with the public.

Nice-to-haves

  • General knowledge of employment laws and human resources processes.
  • Experience in data entry and client support services.
