About the position

The Customer Service Supervisor at Wawa is responsible for overseeing store operations in the absence of senior management. This role focuses on ensuring exceptional customer service, managing store performance, and supporting the management team in achieving sales and operational goals. The supervisor will also handle cash processes, maintain inventory accuracy, and provide direction and coaching to associates.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure exceptional customer service is being delivered.
  • Respond to and resolve customer inquiries and solicit customer feedback.
  • Participate with the store management team to improve store performance in sales, expenses, merchandising, and associate training.
  • Provide direction, motivation, and coaching for associates during the shift.
  • Ensure execution of all customer service programs and processes.
  • Responsible for all cash processes including deposit preparation and lottery.
  • Maintain accurate article level inventory and perform cycle counts and orders.
  • Check in vendors and recognize associates for their accomplishments.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to work 35 - 40 hours per week.
  • Leadership experience required, preferably in a fast-paced retail or food service environment.
  • Experience in training, sales building, and management of expenses.
  • Proven skills in exceptional customer service and effective communication.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in food service menu planning.
  • Experience leading, developing, and selecting teams.
