About the position

The Customer Service Supervisor is responsible for overseeing store operations in the absence of senior management. This role focuses on ensuring exceptional customer service, managing store performance, and supporting the management team in achieving sales and operational goals. The supervisor will also handle cash processes, maintain inventory accuracy, and provide direction and coaching to associates.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure exceptional customer service is being delivered.
  • Respond to and resolve customer inquiries in a courteous and timely manner.
  • Participate with the store management team to improve store performance in sales, controllable expenses, merchandising, and marketing.
  • Provide direction, motivation, and coaching for associates during the shift.
  • Ensure the execution of all customer service programs and processes 24/7.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, security, quality, and store operations policies and procedures.
  • Manage cash processes including deposit preparation, lottery, gift cards, and checks.
  • Maintain accurate article level inventory and perform cycle counts and orders.
  • Check in vendors and recognize associates for their accomplishments.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to work 35 - 40 hours per week.
  • Leadership experience required, preferably in a fast-paced retail or food service environment.
  • Experience in training, sales building, and management of expenses.
  • Proven skills in exceptional customer service and effective communication.

  • Experience leading, developing, and selecting teams.
  • Experience in food service menu planning and all areas of store operations.
