About the position

The Customer Service Supervisor is responsible for overseeing store operations in the absence of senior management, focusing on customer service, product availability, safety, and shift management. This role supports the management team to ensure customer satisfaction, maximize sales, and achieve operational goals, including managing the fuel offer when applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure exceptional customer service is being delivered.
  • Respond to and resolve customer inquiries and solicit customer feedback.
  • Participate with the store management team to improve store performance in sales, expenses, merchandising, and associate training.
  • Provide direction, motivation, and coaching for associates during the shift.
  • Ensure the execution of all customer service programs and processes 24/7.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, security, quality, and store operations policies.
  • Manage cash processes including deposit preparation and lottery.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and perform cycle counts.
  • Check in vendors and recognize associates for their accomplishments.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to work 35 - 40 hours per week.
  • Leadership experience required, preferably in a fast-paced retail or food service environment.
  • Experience in training, sales building, and management of expenses.
  • Proven skills in exceptional customer service and effective communication.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.

  • Experience leading, developing, and selecting teams.
  • Experience in food service menu planning and all areas of store operations.
