About the position

The Customer Technician and POS Support role involves providing technical support and implementation for information systems, specifically focusing on point-of-sale (POS) systems. The position requires direct interaction with vendors and clients to ensure compliance with policies and procedures while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Provides end-user support and provisioning, installation, configuration, maintenance of systems hardware and application software.
  • Installs and supports workstation and server hardware, operating system software, business application and office productivity software.
  • Troubleshoots and restores systems functionality and access to network resources.
  • Provides guidance to Clients and Sales team on the proper and effective use of POS system tools.
  • Provides excellent customer service to clients, vendors and sales team.

Requirements

  • Work experience in a computer-related business setting, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of systems hardware and application software.
  • Hands-on experience installing and supporting Windows, Android, and related applications.
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills; ability to function in a collaborative and supportive environment; sensitivity to others; high integrity; excellent judgment; ability to perform multiple tasks; ability to independently carry out tasks to completion.
