About the position

The Customer Service & Tutor position at APLUS America is a full-time remote role focused on supporting families in their educational journey. The role combines customer service with tutoring, ensuring students receive the necessary guidance and resources to succeed in their studies, particularly in Math and English.

Responsibilities

  • Support families through their APLUS America journey with proactive contact and guidance.
  • Maintain regular contact with families to check on progress and adjust programs as necessary.
  • Monitor and adjust weekly lesson plans to align with families' goals.
  • Provide feedback, rewards, and encouragement to students.
  • Respond to inbound calls from students seeking assistance with APLUS America content.
  • Listen for ways to support parents and update account information accordingly.

Requirements

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Confidence and maturity to discuss children's progress with parents.
  • Ability to handle escalations professionally.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment with multiple IT platforms.
  • Ability to embrace change and drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong understanding of Math up to at least grade 6.

Nice-to-haves

  • Tutoring experience or a teaching qualification.
