About the position

The Customer Service/Warehouse Associate at Dal-Tile plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting warehouse operations. This position involves servicing walk-in customers, completing sales transactions, and handling various warehouse duties such as receiving and loading materials, pulling and assembling customer orders, and conducting inventory checks. The role requires daily use of forklift and crane equipment, ensuring a safe and organized work environment while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Servicing walk-in customers and assisting them in determining order requirements.
• Completing sales transactions and accepting payments.
• Addressing and resolving customer complaints, including returns and order errors.
• Processing payments and receipts, reconciling DSRs and cash box, and preparing bank deposits.
• Entering customer orders and creating plant/RDC orders.
• Pulling and assembling customer orders and checking outbound orders for accuracy.
• Performing inventory stock checks and restocking materials as needed.
• Receiving and unloading inbound materials and processing customer returns.
• Operating crane and forklift equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintaining a clean and organized facility and ensuring compliance with safety rules.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of customer service experience and warehouse experience.
• Experience operating crane and forklift equipment.
