About the position

The Customer Service Warehouse Associate at Dal-Tile Corporation is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support in a warehouse environment. This role involves servicing walk-in customers, completing sales transactions, and handling various warehouse duties such as receiving and loading materials, pulling and assembling customer orders, and conducting inventory checks. The position requires the use of forklift and crane equipment, ensuring a safe and organized work environment while addressing customer inquiries and complaints.

Responsibilities

  • Servicing walk-in customers and assisting with order requirements.
  • Completing sales transactions and accepting payments.
  • Addressing and resolving customer complaints, including returns and order errors.
  • Processing payments and receipts, and reconciling daily sales reports.
  • Entering customer orders and creating plant/RDC orders.
  • Pulling and assembling customer orders and checking outbound orders for accuracy.
  • Receiving and unloading inbound material and processing customer returns.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized facility and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1+ years of customer service experience.
  • 1+ years of warehouse experience.
  • Crane and forklift experience.
  • Strong organizational and math skills.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Excellent time management and detail-oriented capabilities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a similar role within the tile or natural stone industry.
