About the position

The Sales Support Representative role at a leading coffee company involves providing exceptional customer service to both new and existing accounts, supporting the sales department in developing and maintaining business relationships. The position requires strong communication skills, sales experience, and organizational abilities to manage tasks and meet deadlines effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain current business relationships through exceptional customer service.
  • Function as a liaison between customers, Sales Reps, and Internal Teams to coordinate product orders, deliveries, samples, reports, and other materials.
  • Create and manage Cases and Tasks in Salesforce.
  • Engage customers and analyze their account needs to recommend/upsell products and services.
  • Complete a daily call list averaging eighty calls a day, plus call backs.
  • Process daily orders while managing an open phone line and entering orders from various sources.
  • Document and submit account changes, ensuring completion and implementation of requested changes.
  • Stay current on products and pricing structures.
  • Prepare the showroom for events and sales demos as needed.
  • Maintain inventory of office supplies and marketing materials.
  • Complete End of Day self-audits to review orders and confirm status with attention to detail.
  • Cover the reception desk as needed for absences and breaks.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with clear and professional phone and email etiquette.
  • Strong sales and customer service experience.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn new programs.
  • Active listening skills with an empathetic and cheerful outlook.
  • Ability to analyze customer issues and respond efficiently and in a timely manner.
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Strong sales and customer service or call center experience.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Oracle, CRM, or similar software is a plus.
  • Ability to sit at a computer for extended periods of time.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Experience in the coffee industry.
