About the position

The Customer Service Representative at Johnson Air Products plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by responding to inquiries, processing orders, and assisting with product returns and warranty issues. Responsibilities

  • Respond to all customer inquiries and process orders efficiently.
  • Assist in handling monetary transactions and field customer complaints.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, purchasing, and sales personnel to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Provide backup for counter sales and manage will call phone duties.
  • Maintain the Will Call counter and coordinate breaks with co-workers.
  • Assist customers with parts issues, including returns and warranty claims.
  • Keep the showroom area clean and stocked with current products.
  • Pull orders and assist with facility opening or closing duties as needed.
  • Generate necessary paperwork for counter duties and ensure effective communication with customers.
  • Report customer feedback and signs of dissatisfaction to management.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of HVAC products and services.
  • Experience in customer service and inside sales.
  • Familiarity with software systems for order processing and inventory management.
  • Ability to handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with RF scanning systems.
  • Knowledge of company phone systems and procedures.
