About the position

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) at Archetype plays a crucial role in managing and processing orders for repeat clients. This position involves collaboration with various teams, including estimating, design, and production, to ensure a seamless order fulfillment process. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and possesses strong communication skills, with a drive to grow into project management roles within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and process orders from repeat clients.
  • Collaborate with estimating, design, and production teams throughout the reorder process.
  • Conduct order entry and research previous orders and drawings.
  • Regularly update salespeople on project status.
  • Organize and properly save project documentation.
  • Request and understand drawings and pricing.
  • Conduct regular checks of project status.
  • Work with various departments to bring projects from order to delivery.
  • Obtain code checks, permits, and underground locates from jurisdictions.
  • Review floor plans to determine quantities and sign types takeoffs.
  • Manage local and national installers for small projects.
  • Review quality prior to shipment.
  • Submit invoice requests to the accounting team.
  • Learn project requirements from salespeople and project managers.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a customer service environment.
  • Highly organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong accountability and time management skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Critical thinking skills.
  • Working knowledge of computer programs and software.
  • Ability to remain calm and focused during project hurdles.
  • Attention to detail and ability to adjust to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work with varying personalities inside and outside the company.
  • Experience with ERP systems and Asana is a plus.
  • Fluency in English.
