About the position

The Customer Services Associate at OneBlood is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to donors through various communication channels, including phone, email, live chat, and text. The role focuses on addressing donor inquiries and concerns promptly while utilizing customer care software to manage account information and meet daily performance metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve customer service inquiries received via phone, email, live chat, or text, providing timely assistance and working towards satisfactory resolutions.
  • Assist with front desk duties during the Receptionist's lunch and vacation time.
  • Cover the mailroom on a rotation basis, ensuring timely sorting and routing of external and internal mail.
  • Assist with management projects as needed.
  • Call Telerecruitment campaigns when assigned to schedule donor appointments.
  • Track and provide detailed information for any rewards or Fandango movie tickets mailed to donors.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 to 2 years of prior office experience.
  • Strong phone skills and ability to manage calls effectively.
  • Ability to recognize donor frustration and de-escalate concerns with empathy.
  • Ability to multi-task and organize work for timely completion.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills in standard English.
  • Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
