About the position

The position at Chevron Stations Inc (CSI) involves working at retail stations that sell gasoline and convenience products. The role emphasizes customer service, adherence to safety and hygiene standards, and efficient operation of point-of-sale activities. Employees are expected to maintain a professional appearance and provide exceptional service while ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain courteous, professional contact with co-workers, customers, vendors, and the community.
• Support and follow established safety, security, and quality guidelines as well as CSI's policies and procedures.
• Ensure food safety hygiene in accordance with county regulations.
• Conduct all point-of-sale activities accurately and safely while adhering to CSI guidelines and procedures.
• Maintain cash drawer and perform cashier reconciliation at each end of shift.
• Perform consistent station cleaning of indoor and outdoor facilities.
• Prepare food and hot beverage products, managing food service effectively.
• Actively promote store specials and marketing programs.
• Cross-check price of delivered goods for accuracy and distribute them orderly throughout the store.
• Observe local law requirements in activating and filling vehicle fuel tanks with gasoline or diesel fuel.

Requirements

• Available to work a variety of hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to handle challenging situations professionally and exercise exceptional judgment.
• Ability to work both independently and in team settings.
• Must possess required up-to-date food handling certificates, as required by law.
