About the position

The Customer Solution Specialist role at Travelex Insurance Services involves providing exceptional customer service to travelers and agent partners. This role requires a commitment to working in the office initially, transitioning to a hybrid schedule after a probationary period.

Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate, timely, and courteous responses to inquiries about Travelex protection plans.
  • Enroll travelers into suitable plans based on their travel needs and assist with plan upgrades as necessary.
  • Explain plan benefits and exclusions clearly, tailored to each customer's unique travel circumstances.
  • Resolve issues by reviewing policy enrollment history and navigating technical resources to provide solutions.
  • De-escalate customer concerns when needed and determine when to escalate issues to trained personnel.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of customer service experience, ideally in a call-center environment.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to read and interpret policy documentation.
  • Insurance and travel background knowledge is preferred.
