About the position

The Customer Solutions Engineering team at Google is responsible for developing innovative solutions to address the business challenges faced by large advertisers. This role involves providing technical consulting services, cultivating relationships with clients and sales teams, and leveraging Google's technology resources to create prototypes and demos that enhance advertising business. The position requires a blend of technical expertise and customer engagement to ensure clients maximize their use of Google products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical consulting services and guidance around Google APIs and Cloud platforms to help clients develop cutting-edge applications across products.
  • Work closely with customers to understand underlying business challenges.
  • Cultivate relationships with the Sales team and customers, leveraging these relationships to identify and develop innovative technical solutions that lead to more advertising business.
  • Propose, design, create, and present prototypes, demos, and proofs-of-concept to a wide variety of audiences, from Engineers to Marketing professionals.
  • Leverage Google's Cloud infrastructure and big data analytics systems to achieve goals.
  • Work across Sales, Support, and Product teams to provide innovative solutions to real-world challenges.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience working with client-side web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).
  • 3 years of experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
  • Experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA degree.
  • Experience in the online advertising industry.
  • Experience with big data platforms and large volume data analytics.
  • Experience working in a client-facing role.
  • Scripting experience with Shell and SQL.
