About the position
The Customer Solutions Specialist at Fuchs Lubricants plays a crucial role in the sales team by managing the order-to-cash cycle. This position focuses on providing exceptional customer service, resolving issues, and facilitating communication between various departments to ensure smooth operations. The role emphasizes the importance of building strong relationships with customers and internal teams while maintaining a high level of accuracy in account management and order processing.
Responsibilities
- Handle incoming calls from customers and internal teams efficiently.
- Investigate and resolve customer issues with agility and care.
- Serve as an intermediary among purchasing, manufacturing, and sales departments.
- Establish and update customer accounts with precision.
- Inform customers and the sales team of any pricing adjustments.
- Cultivate robust relationships with the regional sales team.
- Process orders, returns, and credit requests expertly.
Requirements
- A BS/BA degree or an equivalent blend of education and experience.
- At least two years of customer service expertise in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data management.
- Exceptional communication abilities paired with a strong problem-solving mindset.
- An eye for detail and the capacity to juggle various tasks.
- A resilient 'can do' approach, ready to tackle challenges independently.
- A fervent dedication to delivering outstanding customer service.
- Decisiveness and a sense of ownership in customer interactions.
- A track record of performing well under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, with a preference for SAP.
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with AS400, JD Edwards, or Great Plains.
- Experience in export procedures.
