About the position

The Customer Solutions Specialist at ALCIVIA is responsible for providing effective customer support to both internal and external customers. This role requires a strong understanding of ALCIVIA's products and services, as well as excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members. The position involves processing customer orders, answering inquiries, handling returns, and working closely with the credit department to resolve disputes. The specialist will also support sales efforts and contribute to cross-divisional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Provide effective customer support for all internal and external customers.
  • Process customer orders accurately and timely.
  • Answer customer questions quickly and effectively.
  • Handle customer changes and returns according to policies and procedures.
  • Enter accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions.
  • Work closely with the credit department to resolve customer disputes.
  • Notify management regarding important service issues or customer concerns.
  • Partner with sales to exceed customer expectations.
  • Support cross-divisional collaboration whenever possible.
  • Assist in other areas of the business as bandwidth allows.

Requirements

  • Associate degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Customer service experience required.
  • Proficient computer experience in Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Agriculture knowledge preferred.
  • Comfortable with numbers and office procedures.
  • Understanding of purchase receipts and invoices.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Customer focus with a sales and service mindset.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
