About the position

The Customer Success Account Management Manager - Global Accounts at Microsoft is responsible for leading a high-performing team of Customer Success Account Managers (CSAMs) to drive customer success through strategic planning and delivery. This role involves managing a portfolio of global accounts, ensuring alignment with customer objectives, and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders. The manager will empower their team to achieve business outcomes by leveraging Microsoft’s products and services, while also focusing on team growth and development.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver success through empowerment and accountability by modeling, coaching, and caring for team members.
  • Proactively develop relationships with key customers, partners, and internal contacts to further Microsoft’s customer success goals.
  • Drive conversations with customers to align their objectives with Microsoft’s portfolio of work.
  • Foster a team culture that identifies and shares customer insights and opportunities for growth.
  • Coach the team to support customer adoption and active usage of Microsoft products and services.
  • Manage program planning and customer-facing program reviews to ensure delivery of Customer Success Plans.
  • Stay current with industry and Microsoft technical insights through consultation with the Customer Success community.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sociology, Psychology, Computer Science or related field AND 6+ years of relevant experience OR Master's Degree in the same fields AND 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience within the customer industry.
  • 3+ years of people management experience.
  • 3+ years of experience managing a consumption portfolio.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sociology, Psychology, Computer Science or related field AND 12+ years of relevant experience OR Master's Degree in the same fields AND 10+ years of relevant experience.
