About the position

The Customer Success and Sales Specialist at CoachMePlus is a hybrid role focused on ensuring clients maximize the value of the company's Athlete Management Software. This position involves providing exceptional customer support, assisting with sales efforts, and leading onboarding and training sessions for new clients. The specialist will act as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and facilitating a smooth transition to the platform while also identifying upsell opportunities to drive customer acquisition and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to client inquiries via email, phone, and chat, offering expert guidance on utilizing CoachMePlus features effectively.
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients trialing the software, ensuring they receive timely and accurate answers to questions.
  • Support the sales team by identifying upsell opportunities during support and training interactions.
  • Proactively manage inbound leads, guiding them through trial stages and nurturing their engagement to drive conversion and close sales.
  • Lead onboarding sessions for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition and comprehensive understanding of the platform's capabilities.
  • Conduct product training sessions that highlight key features and address customer needs.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the software to assist clients in optimizing their use of the platform.
  • Gather and relay client feedback to the product development team for product improvements.
  • Understand the unique communication needs of small and mid-sized businesses and design solutions that meet these requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Sports Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years in customer support, success, or sales within SaaS or tech, ideally in fitness, sports, or human performance industries.
  • Exceptional communication skills and customer-focused mindset.
  • Strong product knowledge, CRM proficiency, and technical troubleshooting ability.
  • Experience managing long-term relationships and providing consultative guidance.
  • US Citizen, with ability to pass a US Department of Defense (DoD) background check and access secure systems through a VPN.
