About the position

The Customer Success Consultant at Avendra is responsible for supporting small to mid-size clients in maximizing their purchasing power through effective account management and sales strategies. This role involves building strong relationships with clients and supplier partners, conducting outreach through phone calls and virtual meetings, and collaborating with marketing to enhance client engagement. The consultant will also leverage Avendra's resources to provide tailored procurement solutions, ultimately driving revenue growth within an assigned territory.

Responsibilities

  • Target, prospect and sell by building strong relationships with customers and supplier partners.
  • Develop insights to educate customers on purchasing optimization and best practices.
  • Achieve established targets and report business results.
  • Create and manage a robust sales pipeline using internal reports and tools, particularly Salesforce.
  • Demonstrate ownership of customer relationships through consistent communication and account management.
  • Connect clients with key supplier partners to assist with procurement needs and resolve issues.
  • Schedule and conduct meetings via phone, video, and email, with occasional in-person meetings.
  • Meet and exceed sales metrics and targets to grow revenue in the assigned territory.
  • Conduct research to understand Avendra's supply chain offerings and client needs.
  • Train customers on Avendra's website, suppliers, programs, and reports.
  • Share industry insights and innovative ideas to improve customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Utilize CRM systems to manage the opportunity pipeline.

Requirements

  • Minimum two years of sales or customer success experience with a record of client growth success.
  • Experience in building and maintaining strong professional relationships through excellent customer service.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Office, Teams, HubSpot, and Avendra's CRM system Pivotal.
  • General business skills and excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including listening skills.
